Founders' Day of Deccan Education Society

Every year DES salutes the dedication & devotion of its Founding Fathers Lokmanya Shri Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Shri Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, Shri Vishnushastri Chiplunkar, Shri Mahadeo Ballal Namjoshi & Shri Vamanrao Apte who established DES to contribute to nation building by offering affordable education to Indian populace.

DES Shri Navalmal Firodia celebrated Founders' Day of Deccan Education Society on 9th August 2024 with a lot of joy & Pride. At this august gathering, the dais was shared by Adv. Ashok Palande, Vice-Chairman DES GB & Council, Dr. Anand Katikar, Secretary, DES, Shri. Deepak Kale, Deputy Secretary DES & Dr. Sunita Adhav, Principal DES SNFLC. Shouldering the great legacy pioneered by these visionaries, the college continues to adhere to the mission of excellence by felicitating the students who secured remarkable positions in curricular, co-curricular & extra-curricular sectors. The achievers were awarded by the dignitaries on this occasion.

Dr. Sunita Adhav heartily welcomed the dignitaries on the dais & the audience. Adv. Ashok Palande recalled the importance of Founders' Day& shared his futuristic views with all. Dr. Anand Katikar encouraged the gathering to contribute to the nation by being dutibound in their respective fields. Shri Deepak Kale was felicitated at the hands of Adv. Ashok Palande. Asst. Prithviraj Chavan coordinated the event & proposed the formal vote of thanks on this occasion."
